Work that reads well

A short selection from recent engagements. We keep this page deliberately brief: full case studies, with process and outcomes, are shared in conversation at the studio.

Identity & print program

A full identity and seasonal print program for a Richmond arts organization. The engagement covered naming support, a new mark and type system, posters, programs, and wayfinding for the organization's home venue. The system was designed to be run by the client's own team, with a guide written in plain English and templates prepared for each seasonal format.

Editorial design

A series of titles for an independent publisher: interior grids, typography, cover design, and production oversight carried from first layout to the press check. The titles share a typographic grammar while keeping covers distinct, so the list reads as a catalogue rather than a collection. The engagement continues with each new season of releases.

On showing work

Most of what leaves this studio belongs to someone else — a press, an institution, a founder — and we show it only with their blessing. That is why this page stays short. If you would like to see more of the practice in detail, the best way is a visit to Staples Mill Road, where projects can be spread across the table and discussed properly, or a call in which we can walk through comparable work for the kind of project you have in mind.
